IN 2011, AMOR WELCOMED THE opportunity to partner with AmeriCares, a nonprofit disaster relief and humanitarian aid organization which provides immediate response to emergency medical needs.
AmeriCares realized the great need at Afshar Hospital and committed over $200,000 in medical supplies, pharmaceutical and equipment to be distributed throughout the year.
In May 2011, Afshar received its first delivery of supplies and received a total of three shipments
throughout the year.
In mid 2011, AmeriCares introduced AMOR to Xango, a food supplement company, who provided
over 1,260 cases of nutritional supplement for distribution at Afshar Hospital and its surrounding
clinics.
AMOR has been able to serve more patients at Afshar Hospital and provide essential services through our partnership with AmeriCares. We are rateful for their donations and look forward to a continued partnership in 2012 and beyond.
