Zindagee Reclamation

American Medical Overseas Relief was founded with the mission of providing healthcare to those who can not provide for themselves. Ninety-seven percent of every donation you make goes directly back to Afshar Hospital. Sometimes your donation is used to get a crate of medical supplies to Afghanistan. Sometimes to pay for a delivery of a newborn and care for her mother before and after the birth. Sometimes it is used to keep the power supply running at Afshar Hospital.
But maybe you are looking for a way for your donations to go towards the immediate needs at Afshar Hospital. For example, if there is a shortage of antibiotics, or a family who cannot pay for a procedure or hospital stay. If this sounds like a way you would like to give, AMOR's Zindagee Reclamation is a wonderful way for you to get involved.
The Zindagee Reclamation is a specific fund which will be set aside for the immediate needs of the hospital. Your donations are still tax deductable and your donation will go through AMOR, but instead the donation will be used for immediate needs.
The idea for the Zindagee Reclamation came from the heart of a student at the University of California San Diego. Samera Yousuf was inspired by the efforts of AMOR and had the desire to recruit as many people as possible to assist AMOR in its existing efforts. Those who donate to the Zindagee fund will recieve information, on behalf of AMOR staff, as to how their donations were and are being utlized.
